I teach using clear and simple examples, comparisons and analogies from the childhood world.

I continue to develop the student’s intuition and increasingly fortify it with logic.

Music learned like a mother tongue, supported by theory

Imitation and understanding of sounds first, reinforced by theory.

Each new theoretical principal is simultaneously put into practice on the instrument.

Mental focus enabled by a relaxed body

From the very first day, I teach the student to find their own balance and bodily comfort. I show them how to feel the physical sensation of a musical gesture before creating that gesture on the instrument.

Diverse styles of music

The musical universe is vast. For each student I choose pieces appropriate to skill level, and the particular taste and interests of the student.

Together we explore the major themes of classical music, popular music, world music, and even video game music.

Personalized digital file

Each student has access to their own online personalized digital portal containing brief tutorial videos, sheet music, and my own notes and indications.
